Marco Campana

Marco Campana

Over the past 26 years, Marco Campana has worked in some form of immigrant and refugee-serving sector communications. His experience extends from front-line client service to the first Settlement.Org Content Coordinator. He created and managed the Settlement AtWork site, and launched OCASI’s Learn AtWork online learning site for settlement sector workers.

Marco is well-known for his efforts to initiate a service sector community of practice. Of note is the successful digital and social media strategy he implemented at Maytree. At the same time, he shared his approach with colleagues to support cross-sectoral knowledge-transfer.

Today, Marco Campana works as an independent consultant. His focus is on helping agencies to harness technology in client service delivery. Therefore, he brings his deep understanding of employment, settlement, and policy development to TWIG’s microtasking project. His expertise in issues such as invisible workers and the impact of technology on jobs grounds the research in the realities of Toronto’s workforce.
